    Simply Japanese was just amazing

First of thank you to Colin, John & Jay for finding me & taking the time for a good old chat, it was great to see you all

Well I have to say "WHAT A DAY"!!

The weather was just superb & this was the biggest best Simply Japanese so far.

I've been every year & this was just huge, fantastic amount of cars some amazing with some really great classics thrown in.

It did take us 35 minutes to get in but well worth it

My clutch took a hammering but hopefully that can be sorted

So on the face of it I would highly recommend that club vr4 gets in on the act for next year as you wont be disappointed!

Photos to come once sorted them out

A friend of mine at work came over and commented on the fact that there were "some of your monster estates" at beauliegh last weekend.

Yeah saw Colin and the gang polishing his up, I dont think ive seen him not polishing it lol. I figured the white one was that of John but couldnt quite make him out in the pictures. Hopefully next year nothing will get in my way and I will be able o make it. Ive been wanting to attend this for the last few years but something always happens whether its work or vehicle failures

It will be good to catch up if you can make it?

The club will need 5 cars minimum to be allocated a club stand & it might be worth trying to arrange this earlier than later due to it becoming extremely busy & popular plus club vr4 don't really do many events.

Yeah definitely be a good catch up indeed, its been a while. I did vow to make it to a ton of events this year including simply japanese and japfest 2 but due to inforseen circumstances I only managed 2 but I must say Japfest is a must for me next year it was simply a great atmosphere and lots to see. Japshow also was a great event this year and making a weekend of it camping just made it better. Like I say just a shame I didnt make a few more.

Will definitely be good to be able to get the flags out and advertise the club with a decent number of people there. The timing of the organising threads are key, too early and people think its too far away to plan ahead then forget about it. Too late and people have already booked holidays etc. I will do my best to be at as many events as possible next year especially as Im planning on having a new look to the car to show off

Looks a good show now. A couple of nice Datsun "Z's" there. Brings back memories. Grown somewhat since I went a couple of years ago. Might have to take the 3000GT for an outing next year.
