Anyone tried this willwood evo 3 brake kit.....as evo 3 stuff fits the vr4?

As per title anyone know if the evo 3 caliper hole fit is the same as a vr4, think I saw a bracket for the evo 3 that was supposed to fit our cars to fit brembos, this kit for that price with all the hardware and stuff seems a easy fit if anyone knows?

better off with brembos, that kit also comes with the wrong stud pattern on the disks, also i dont think that early evo came with brembos, so the caliper probably have a different bolt pattern as well

As far as I understand it the pre brembo evos had the same brake setup as the pre facelift vr4 so the calipers should fit a PFL but as you say the vr4 has a 5x 114.3 stud pattern but no harm in asking if they can supply a different disk.

If they can it might be a good upgrade for PFL cars. But looks like that is for front wheels only. However brembo's will probably cost that much to buy.

It depends if the will woods fit under you existing wheels or not. Are the smaller than the brembo's. A new set of wheels and tyres can easily add £400 to the brembo kit.

    Bye for Now!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but pfl vr4 caliper bolts offset is similar to Evo 4-5, not 1-3.
    Ex: Galant VR4
Running 268 HP ATW and 443 Nm torque at 0.9 bar
    Now: Lancer Evolution 8 FQ-300
Running 325 HP ATW and 510 Nm torque at 1.6 bar

My understanding is that all evos 4 to 9 have the same caliper mounting points and spacing. This is the same as the facelift VR4.
I have no idea if the evo 3 has the same mounting points as the pfl but as above, they are 4 stud hubs.

Sorry swinks thats wrong. Evo 5's had brembos from factory. Evo 4's have brembo bolt spacing also but have the 2 pot slider calipers. Just like a facelift VR4

Evo 5's had the option of Brembos IIRC.

Either way, the caliper/hub carrier bolt spacing is the same from evo 4 to 9.

Good point about the discs, the reason I am looking at this is its easy and getting the facelift hub knuckles seems to be a bit of a pain in the arse
