as per tittle ,i am thinking of selling my car but want to know what you guys think it is worth
its a 99 facelift galant vr4
mods:
super vr4 spoiler
brembos front and rear
hks 3" exhuast and decat with upgraded downpipes
large fmic and cusco hard pipes
hks pod filter
hks evc 5 boost controler
has boost gauge oil and water gauges
hks coilovers (seen better days)
it also has recaros
red steering wheel
red handbrake gaiter
and red gear knobb
tinted window all round with ind defectors
and fg engine cover
magnorcore 8.5 mm leads

What's it worth...?

Condition and service history will be a big factor...

Auto...? 17" wheels...?

As much as that one buyer will pay or as little as such an old car with unwanted mods will attract...

The one buyer who wants your car with those mods will eventually show themselves and pay what you ask...

Or nobody will want the car with your mods...

Is the Super VR4 spoiler that big thing in photo 3...?

Do you have original air filter kit/snorkel etc...? Original cat'...?

All your mods in my opinion are all decent bolt on upgrades, which anyone would prefer to ha e than not have.

Transmission and proof of servicing will be important, even if done by yourself.

The spoiler would be the only marmite part to your sale as that could be enough to put some people off due to the effort involved in removing it.

I've noticed some quite highly priced vr4's lately, but that doesn't mean there selling for these prices. Because of what else there is available for similar power/drive. I don't see a vr4 being worth more than 3k due to the problems with tuning, there's more in the jap world you can buy for 3-5k that is better to start as your base.

And btw, I proper love mine!! Had it out this weekend lol

VR-4's are a tough sell because they are quite unique cars, and few people know them. Start by putting up an ad with a high-ish price (5-6k) and wait for any interested buyers, see how much the car is worth to them. If you want a decent price you have to be patient and wait for the buyer.

What's the underside like? Any rust?

as others have said it's worth what someone is wiling to pay for it, i would say between 2.7k and 3.5k is a good price

I like your car, I would consider buying it depending on service history/lubricants used...

And whether you had some of std kit - spoiler, induction kit/snorkel...

Some people may be put off by non-std stuff - maybe the big wing/spoiler, HKS induction kit and perhaps bigger wheels although some people will like Brembos fitted...

Even if some prospective buyers want or accept car as modified, it does not mean they will pay anywhere near 5-6k - market is not that strong and you may have to accept lower bids but such a initial price may put people off making an offer...
