I have just got me old engine out so last few bits can swap over and get the turbos on.
Im shocked at what i have just found.
The car was ment to have had a new belt and kit and wp fitted.
Wp has no gasket just silicone on, only half a belt kit was fitted this was the middle pully the one with the tentioner was not replaced its covered in rust and old belt rubber, the oil leak was from the hydrolic tentioner.
Is it just me or do people not expect to be found out.
I know you may get a little rust on a pully but not pitted rust after a year or two. Was hoping you use my old kit and just put new belt on as was only 10k old. Not that i mind just anoying
