    Airbag Disposal

Hey guys what is the best way to dispose of steering wheel airbags? Will the local council tip take them of me or will I need to find a specialist disposal company and will it cost me anything?

Oh and I dont want the usual 'hehe set it on fire mate' or 'put it under your chair and set it off and see how high you get' kind of responses. I want serious responses only please guys.

I would try the local breakers yard for advice,

Breakers yard would be my first port of call too.

Or you could put it under a chair and then set the chair on fire....

Unfortunately no real decent breakers round here, may be one further out of town I will have a look. Could just sell it to someone on here complete with the rest of the Nardi wheel lol

    Airbag Disposal

If you set it off sensibly you can throw it in the bin. The proper way of doing it is to stack 3 or 4 tyres and put it in the middle before setting it off (bag side up)

just anonymously drop it off at a mechanic, and if they say no, take it to another one after hours haha, or use Davids more entertaining suggestion
