    Grounding the Horn

Hey guys another bone question but just replaced my steering wheel and noticed that there is only 1 wire (I gather its +12V) protruding from the car.

The stock steering wheel horn button has a wire that goes inside where the airbag is housed. (Dont want to start dismantling the airbag) so based on that am I ok to ground the horn button on the aftermarket wheel to the metal boss?

might sound daft but isnt your nice new boss made of metal, and thats conected to a big long metal bar thats then bolted to a big chassis thats then wired to a battery?
