Underseal

Hi all,

When I installed my O2 sensor last week i rubbed my forearm on the under side of the

car near to where the sensor is fitted,My question is i got what looked like paint on it,

It was still wet/waxy and was grey in colour.

Now is this the underseal that is put on when new or after it has left Mitsubishi in the

UK and put on by somebody else.

All 3 of my "UK spec" Ralliart cars have had black underseal which was applied harf arsedly when they were imported. I'm going to guess your car might have been undersealed by a previous owner.

Dinitrol comes in grey as well as black, and stays soft and waxy

Thanks for the replys, If it is Dinitrol then that's saves me a job but I will give it a recoat or touch up if possible.
Have done the inside of arches just got to get underneath and see what needs doing.
