It is an optional extra for the mmcs.

Do you only have the one side with 2x aerials? I have a single aerial on the other side too. Wondering if it's normal or related to the options that were added with the MMCS

its a japan tv arial i use to have 2 on mine along with the tv and the tuner there useless in the uk as the ariels pick up a diffrent signal to what we need.

For the radio you can, For the tv there is no analog broadcasting anymore.
