    Back on the road

    Hi all after my previous disaster posts I am now pleased to announce that the phoenix has rison from the ashes and is better than ever new engine with 67k and new turbo's no noisy tappets etc and drives like a dream thanks for all tips advice etc I'm now one happy bunny next purchase oil temp oil pressure and boost gauges all sitting in a pillar pod

    Never bothered jazzcam cos ones in new engine are quiet as a mouse but I don't think I wud have had any problems as I work as a cnc machinist

    Just a quick one new engine is fine but when I accelerate it misses as if it's gonna cut out just wondering if it could be an iffy vacum hose or something

    It could be an air leak. It could also be a failing maf or coil pack, dodgy plugs or leads etc.

    Maf came off original engine and was fine when it was on that also noticed battery light flickers a little bit maybe it's electrical
