this is not my video, just came across while searching on youtube, but found it interesting.

you can buy a usb borascope for about £10-£15 to view on a laptop. i have one but not used it yet on my current engine i will do a video when i next change the plugs.

if you think you have a piston problem it might be a wise investment before paying someone else to stip your engine just to find out you have already melted a pastion and scratched the bore of the cylinder so you know you will have to have a cylinder rebore. you would know the cost of fixing the engine will be high so it would be cheaper to buy a second hand engine and you can check it out before you buy it, it only a spark plug out job and rotate the engine.
