ct20 turbos from a 2jzgte

Hello!, I have found a seller that is upgrading his 2jzgte from is aristo. its twin turbo. so the injectors are perfect for my set up (want about 400hp) and 440cc 2jzgte should work according to my tuning guy, but what do you think about ct20 turbos vs td04? I can get 2 turbos and the injectors + more for $500 so its nice and cheap, but is it worth it? Hard to find info on ct20 turbos

Hi Heath,

The devil is in the details as you seemed to have cottoned on, it's all about how difficult it'll be to shoehorn the CT20's in, there's not a lot of clearance behind the 6A13 for bigger turbos, not unless you want to either relocate or cut into the firewall.

I think the best thing to do is get as much technical information on the turbo's as you can, such as dimensions, mount points etc.

The injectors however, providing they're high impedance (Google seems to suggest they are ) like the SARD 63516's then they can be added and the stock ECU remapped to suit (although I believe it'll require a minimum of 3 hours dyno time to dial in both performance and cruise).

im not sure if they are even ct20a's lol I brought them and the injectors anyway for $300 so im happy even if i cant use them i can sell them, the injectors alone are worth approx that.

i do see a 12/8 or B so maybe ct12b?

Toyota CT turbos are rubbish. Not worth the hassle. Much better off woth a MHI TD series turbo.
