    Headlight bulbs - please confirm

Can someone please confirm the headlight bulbs on the facelifted VR4's. In the pre-facelift it was H1's for the dip and H7's for the main beams. Is this the same ? Too dark and cold to go and check right now

Other way round - dip beams are H7, main beams are H1, fogs are H1 too.

Probably! IIRC it is only three bolts.

It is only three bolts, but you need to take the grille off to get at one of them ... Still quicker and less knuckle-scrapingly difficult than trying to change them in place.

Mine have been changed a few times (think I had a lekky problem as they blew every few weex) so I decided to squeeze the spring clips making their profile narrower.. The bulb holder pops out with pliers and screwdriver now..but its still a fiddly job which ends up with scraped hands whilst swearing profusely until the job is completed!

I'm surprised that the main and dip beam bulbs appear to have swapped round given that the headlamp unit is the same. The fog lamp units are different so I can understand the change there.

I wonder if the LHD light units are different?

My GLS is H1 main beam, H7 dip. Not sure about the fogs... they don't get used often enough to warrant upgrading to Xenon.
