Car History

I have owned the car for 16 months and covered 14k miles. However the car has developed a fault with the transmission system. It currently only has Reverse and 1st and 2nd gear, will not fully engage any gear past this. So Im just in the process of trying to gauge what is going to be the most sensible option. Sell for spares, break the car myself or ( very unlikely with current on/off work situation) send for diagnosis at a local auto specialist and get repaired.

Mechanically the car is sound (bar the gearbox of course) The car came with a book full of receipts when I bought it and it appears to have wanted for nothing over the years except for a good underseal. The car was heavily weld repaired to a professional standard when I bought the car and fully undersealed. However there are areas at the rear of the car that require attention around the boot area.
So good points for anyone looking to buy the car for spares:

Solid engine that has been well maintained from new.
Fully Working AYC system
Brembo Brakes
Custom Black Leather Interior Hand Stitched with the VR4 logo in the head rests. (Front & rear).
MOMO steering wheel & carbon dash trim.
Rear Diff
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 Alloys in anthracite ( in need of refurb)

In my ownership the car has had the following work done:

All fluids, oils and filters changed immediately, new sparkplugs and injector baskets. All work carried out by members of the club.
3x Oil & filter change with AMSoil 5w-30
Full AYC flush and 2x rear diff oil changes ATF & SVG
New Radiator
Both rear driveshafts
New sump pan
New discs all round
2x sets of new pads (running low again)
Both rear wheel bearings & near side front bearing I have the o/s front bearing also new in box.
o/s rear diff seal changed
New Front Y exhaust pipe section ( flexi needs changing again)
New steering rack gaitors

Modifications.

Slightly lowered not sure how much
Custom Interior

Bad bits

Body work is slightly on the poor side with stone chips etc the rear bumper is scratched and has a dent that can easily be pushed out but I wouldnt put it on another car.
MOT advisories were slight play in o/s straight arm and o/s rack end

Ah, no worries. Never really fancied riding a bike on the road but been wanting to get into off roading for a few years now. Almost bought one when I bought the VR4 but I fell for the charms of the galoon and every spare penny Ive had since has gone into her. Ive reached the point now where Im really struggling to justify keep spending money especially with the state of the industry Im in at the minute. Thats why Ive put the ad up as I know there are many people like us who want to keep these beasts alive and with more time and money than myself to do so.

8.5mb is way to big for the club

they have to be on or around 1mb if using the clubs imaging

How can I get around this? I take the pictures with my phone cant see how I can make them any smaller. Help!!

Three options:

1) Use an editing software, like Photoshop Express.
2) Change the quality settings on your phone before taking the photos.
3) Upload the photos to Imgur, then take the smaller versions they provide, and upload them to here.


Number 2 is probably the easiest option!

download pixresizer to a pc.

copy pics to pc.

run them through pixresizer

post them up.


all my pics go through pixresizer and i change them to 1024x768 and they upload very nicly and the pics as still good quality.

Managed to get pics of interior up but the smallest I can get pics from the outside is 2.5mb. I will get them up tomorrow somehow

Download image resizer, left click on picture, image resize, upload, can't be any simpler than this, you can even pick whole batch of images and resize the lot at on click.
