Last time I looked they were expensive.
Fronts changed design slightly at the late 1998 facelift.
I would ask a dealer first then try viamoto etc. After the shock of the dealer price everything else will seem better!
Viamoto don't list them nor do part-box or import car parts I'm stumped other than main dealer which tbh won't have a clue what a legnum vr4 is
When enquiring for parts that are hard to come by, i have found that 'Ian' at Crawley Mitsubishi has a fair bit of knowledge when it comes to sourcing bits for VR4's. 01293 429800
Just remember to have reg and full vin to hand when making enquiries
Can a sensor from a std galant be used, or from another mitsubishi such as an Evo
I think all 8th gen Galants/Legnums shared the same hub carriers and ABS sensors.
I can't be sure that rears are the same between 2WD and 4WD.
I am sure that the design changed at the first facelift, in late 1998. However it changed across the whole range. People have used facelift front hub carriers from 2WD cars to upgrade the brakes on their prefacelift 4WD cars. The hub / driveshaft / reluctor ring is still compatible but the hub carrier and ABS sensor on the front only changed in design.
