Driving along quite happily ......... Clonk and a resounding bang from rear left corner. That didnt sound good...... Ooops... So temp fix to hold shock top central until new cup arrives....
Voila.....

It is a good temp fix so you can still move the car around, but I would not advise you dive it like that the metal strap is not strong enough to hold everything together.

Been driven for a week with the band and no issues. Just put new cups in today so no more driving like a learner, back to hooning into right hand corners again
