My unexpected visitors were my ex wife liz and our elder granddaughter allysa!!
Only the second time liz has been here since we divorced 10 years ago! The only other time was for my dad's funeral.
It was lovely to see them both.... Allysa was a bit shy at first but soon came round and I got lots of hugs and kisses!
I was in my dressing gown & didn't have time to get dressed. That didn't go down well with liz!
A nice 30 minute chat, Then liz said that I need a haircut.... I know. And a shave.... I know, my razor is at my new flat.
This settee needs throwing out..... Err... No, I will have it cleanedIt smells of smoke in here..... Err, yes dear, that's because I smoke..... I hope you are going to hoover up before you go!! Yes liz, I will.
FFS... It was like I was still married!!!
Anyway how, she is going to pop in to my new flat soon with allysa & hopefully not as much grief!!
Its easy to avoid the grief, just do as she says before she comes back.
Live, love, learn but most of all.... Plan.
There will be no comeback col!! But now, it's liz turn to expect the unexpected. And not from me
Liz is baby sitting for ava tomorrow because becky is working...... Or so she thinks!
As soon as both bex and rach turn up at 8 am... She will tell her mum she has 1 hour to get packed.... They are taking her to Brighton for a long weekend.... To celebrate her birthday

Did I mention that my kids don't do anything by halves??
Anita and her partner John live on a boat...... Her half million quid flat in brunswick square is rented out. So....... Becky, Rachel, Dan and Paul...... Ava too.... Are going to hire a small speed boat to meet in the bay they are moored and surprise them!!
Then.... Of to a nice hotel until Monday
Hmm..... Not everything went quite to plan!!
At least it kept the rnli busy

After arriving in Southampton... Via waitrose
.. My ex and kids found anita and John on their boat in Poole Harbour. Armed with 12 bottles of champagne!!
It didn't take long for it to all go Pete tong!
Irene fell off the yacht... Hit her head on the mooring.... A passers-by phoned the rnli, They managed to get her out of the water and back to the hotel!
The rest of the weekend was just a blur for liz and irene!! My Rachel washed her hands of her mum.... My becky said it was the the most stressful weekend of her life.... Trying to get her mum in bed at night.... Fully clothed!!
And..... When she got back to Sheffield, she called round to mine. And warned me about my drinking!! Err.... Pot kettle!
