1.2mm head gasket

Where is the best place to get an uprated 1.2mm head gaskets from.

Or will it be a case of old skool and skim the head a little and run double gaskets?

Search for 6A12 dohc gaskets. Australian RPW site has one in various thickness.

Did find them but wasnt sure if the na gaskets would fit the tt

Found a set at 1.10mm am i correct in thinking the stock ones are only .6mm

Don't know stock gasket thickness.
VR4 engine is 6A13 dohc, doesn't matter "tt" (turbocharged). The same 6A12 dohc one, difference in conrod/piston stroke.
Anyway you have listed compability engines at RPW website.

I'm not sure but i suspect that the original one has 4 layers.

Dont run double gaskets. Why do you want to decompress the engine anyway.

I believe he is doing it to remove knock.
