    so, and for today...

well i pulled out the front seats so i could try and get a bit more room tucked into the back as im going to have to get to welding up in there soon. first i decided to tec screw in the first piece, which went in well enough to be welded, next ill join the underneath of the window into the inner skin and then move to the drivers side. but before i can seal up the drivers side i have a fuel cap to plan. so i traced the fuel line down to its first connector point and unbolted it and pulled it out, it had to be cut but shouldnt be an issue as its going to need messing with to get connected back up

and an odd panaramic shot of the side view now its dropped

Are you getting the side louvres to match? Always been a bit marmite with these. Granted all the cars I dont like them on are relatively standard ones and yours is going to be far far far from standard haha. Question is, are you going Big Gay Wing, Veilside or Rocket Bunny type on the rear? Or are we just going to have to wait?

Aha yes I do like the Stillen rear spoilers to be fair.

Im with you on the side louvre's I think they look a bit odd. Not sure if you have read but a few people that have got the proper louvre have complained about a rattle from the individual horizontal slats (whatever they are called) where they rattle against the rear screen. Many ways you can get round this but I expect the sound system that is inevitably going to be installed will drown it out. Thats if your even going fast enough in it to generate any kind of wind to lift and rattle them

Haha.... a rattle on the window!

That will be the least of the noises that will come from this chassis

Just think, every few 100 miles or so, you will have grounded enough of the metal on the underside to go even lower lol

    ok... so

    more play time today

first up was the fuel cap, i bought some flexible fuel hose to use to extend the pipework but i wanted to retain as much of the oem pipework as possible, so now its thru the outside skin and inside, i will try to drill a precise hole in the floor to get the other half of the oem pipes back into the fittings i removed them from then use the flexi hose to connect them both up.

carried on piecing metal in to the rear quarters, i reckon one more day of cutting should do it, then it will be time to prep it all up and remove all rust and paint from the car and metal pieces so they can be welded

and finally i got a trial fit of the front upper camber arms. i needed to get one in so i could measure up the clearances between the coilover and the carrier at full negative, there was a tight 30mm gap so i will have the upper arm modified to allow another 20mm push of negative camber and then we will look at the lower arm setup.

my rear camber arms are being extended right now so hopeflly they will be back next sat.

So, it was camber time! The modified arms for the rear were back and it was time to be a moron!

I'm very happy with how it's sitting, and can't wait to get the 15j wheels On

So end of day 1, it was clear I needed some spacers, the wheel required forcing in so Sunday was time to cut the arches with a grinder and slap a pair of 30 5mm spacers on to get the wheel away from the shock. We also whacked a 10.5j image wheel on off the 200

And how we left it with the oem wheel on a 30mm spacer
