Keeping up the Christmas tradition

My Becky called round on Christmas day with a pressie for me ! she was on her way to her mum's.

Apparently, Liz had got the Turkey out of the freezer, but it wasn't fully defrosted. So, she put in the oven on a very low heat to defrost.

But.... She forgot to remove the plastic wrapping! Melted the plastic to the Turkey and set fire to the oven!!

That women I was married to for 23 years should not be allowed near a kitchen, any day, not just Christmas day !!

Classic with my ex !! You couldn't make it up.

Just spoken to Dan, he knew about the oven disaster. He rang his mum on Christmas day to wish her a merry Christmas.

Apparently, Liz Left the plastic wrapping on deliberately because she didn't want one of the cat's getting to the Turkey. My son's reply was. . since when has a cat been able to open an oven door? Lol !
