205 tyres on 8" wide Evo wheels

Not for the VR-4, but for the RVR (although my thoughts apply to both) - I am looking at using 205/50R17 tyres on the front and 225/45R17 tyres on the back (winter tyres). This is a difference in rolling radius of just 0.4% (so not a concern) - my query is what about the slight stretch of a 205 tyre onto an 8" rim; anyone have any experience of this?

I don't think it will be particularly noticeable, but any thoughts appreciated!
