    Progress so far

So ive been working away trying to give the CF bonnet some life back little bits at a time as and when I get a chance. I know from doing some digging on here that it's the actual weave that's the issue but taking it back a bit at a time seems to be getting rid of most of the Whitness will never be perfect but I rekon a little bit more work and it will be at least presentable

If you do the door protectors black then the canards on the front t bumper should be black.

Think about the rear spoiler as well.
Or something smaller to start with the front grill in black. To give a black line across the front of the car. This is assuming the background of you headlights is black.
Just a thought, I like the black bump strip on the door.
You could do a black grill with a white mesh that is my choice as I have silver car with black grill and silver mesh. Oh and silver Mitzi badge.
Hear is a pic so you car see if you like the general look.

The picture is not that good as it is back lit. It is much more visible in the flesh.
But hopefully you can see the difference.

By the way the white cloudiness on the bonnet will never polish out.
I think it goes like that due to the heat of the engine bay and normally people do not fit the heat shield to the back of the new carbon bonnet which ruine the lacker finish on the outside.
You can get products that cover it up and make it look new again. But as soon as it goes through a heat cycle it just goes cloudy again.
Personally I think the only way to fix it is to sand it down and refinish it. With a compatible lacquer, as the finish might be just be the resin from the carbon fibre moulding.
    Again just some thoughts

I like the white mesh idea never thought of that stands out quite nicely. And no the bonnet will never be completely fixed there's always going to be a few blemishes but I can get it so a big majority of it is looking like it should because it's only the laquer that's clouded over in most parts. I've got a few bits that are staying as it should be after cutting it back no matter the temp of the bay so when I get rid of all the surface damage I'll see what I'm left with.
