Purely for aesthetics, would this be possible? the disc size is 276mm.

If it's a facelift or got facelift hubs yes if not no
You would have the issue of 4 studs to 5 but it is entirely possible. I have seen a couple of 5 stud conversions on FWD galants.
Mechanically possible if you car has the FL hub carriers in front (160mm caliper mounting bolt distance). If you have the PFL ones with 130mm pattern, you need to change for the correct hub carriers. Rear brembos will bolt straight on.
Challenges you will face:
- Evo Brembo discs are only available in 5-stud pattern -> either change all wheel hubs and bearings or re-drill to 4 bolt pattern
- you need different rear brake lines as the connection to the Brembo caliper is different compared to the original brake caliper
From my own experience I cannot advise to have Brembos on the front and OE on the back. When I had this setup, the rear brakesreceived too much pressure and the discs got too warm. Might have been something specific to my car but I could clearly see it.
the one and only...Pearl White Legnum 25 ST-R...registered in Germany - now featuring a 6A13TT engine (unless you know otherwise)
Sometimes I think it would just be easier to buy a vr4, but all the work I've put in to this one prevents me from detaching my self from it haha. Just wanna get it looking as good as possible, but alas, the challenges I face....
