Sideskirts

Hi ,
Can someone tell me if I need any type of glue or sticky pads when refitting sideskirts.
I have taken mine off and they had a strip of glue, just need to know if it is important or not ??

Mine are fitted with some screws and clips. No glue.

It might have been the double-sided sticky strip, similar to the stuff for the wind deflectors. It would probably reduce the likelihood of any rattling/squeaking.

Going to get something to replace the original tape, so no rattling or squeaking.
