    6G75 Engine swap

    Can't find many links to anyone who's done this, just one mention of it in another forum and a picture of it fitted in the engine bay. 3.8L 6G75 into Galant, running 231Bhp to 268bhp (Depending on application), uprate it, perhaps you could get almost 300?
    Could be a nice little project for the future when I have spare cash and time. Definitely easier than adding in a turbo to N/A engine anyway...

    Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated

    It is probable because you have other options available.
    The 6a13tt engine will transplant and give 280 hp with no extra tuning.
    Or the 4g63 evolution engine has been done before and the tuning options on that are pretty unlimited. If you 400 hp you buy a tried and tested kit for that, if want 600hp you can buy a kit for that, if you want 1000hp you buy a kit for that. It all depends on how much money you want to spend.

    Sorry Dan, I agree with Dave here.

    I'm guessing you're looking at the 6G75 SOHC MIVEC? You'll need to swap the ECU to maintain the MIVEC control. If you're swapping ECUs, you might as well go for a "VR2" swap.

    Alternatively, you could take the heads from a VR-4 and get an estimated 200 HP, here's an interpolation spreadsheet I made comparing various Mitsubishi engines in actual and theoretical configurations;

    Some random markets got a galant VR-M which was the 6A12 DOHC MIVEC engine as found in the FTO. That ran 200bhp.

    Personally I would go 6A13TT or 4G63T as they are relatively easy swaps.
