Reluctant sale of a much loved car. I've owned the car since November 2016 and have covered over 5000 fault free miles in it and have loved every second. I recently did a 1500 mile trip across Europe with the car and it performed perfectly. I was planning to keep it for a lot longer but I've had a change in circumstances and gone with something completely different in the form of a Alfa 4C Spider.
The car is the usual MR spec with Recaro seats, Rockford Fosgate audio, sat nav, HID lights etc.
I purchased the car from a fellow MLR member (roadrunnerrs2) who had purchased it from another fellow MLR member (Alex2015) so you know it's been looked after.
Under Alex's ownership the car was taken to Indigo GT where they rebuilt the engine and gearbox with the uprated bits and bobs listed above. Under my ownership it's been back to Indigo GT for a once over, a gearbox reteach and a tweak to the map. The shifts are nice and smooth both in auto and manual mode. Pops and bangs are mapped in SuperSports mode.
I've had new AD08R tyres fitted along with Carbotech XP8 pads and fresh Motul RBF600 fluid and a wheel alignment recently. I have also changed a few other bits too like the fuel relay and the coolant temp sensor. It passed the last MOT without any advisories. I had the oil changed (Fuchs Titan Pro S 10w50) after I bought it by a local garage and it's currently at GR Performance where it is having a full service with fresh fluids all round, this includes the diffs and the SST fluid.
The service history on the car is as follows -
07/07/09 - 1,354 miles - Mitsubishi Main Dealer
26/02/10 - 3,998 miles - Mitsubishi Main Dealer
30/03/11 - 9,653 miles - Mitsubishi Main Dealer
29/02/12 - 13,147 miles - Mitsubishi Main Dealer
01/10/13 - 21,207 miles - Mitsubishi Main Dealer
02/05/15 - 26,917 miles - Conaghan Auto Centre
23/12/15 - 30,764 miles - Indigo GT (rebuild)
12/02/16 - 32,740 miles - Indigo GT
26/11/16 - 36,238 miles - Andy Turner
Date TBC - 41,000 miles - GR Performance
There is a folder of paperwork with the car which includes receipts for over £12,000 worth of modifications and upgrades.
I've used the car as a daily driver and it's perfectly fine when commuting or other mundane driving like supermarket trips. It comes alive on a B road, the fast road set up works well with the very grippy AD08R tyres and the performance is mind boggling. I've owned and driven a few quick cars over the years but this probably the fastest point to point car I've driven.
As you can see from the pictures the car is in good condition. There are a few small marks which is to be expected from a 8 year old vehicle. I've cleaned and polished the car regularly and the pearl white looks amazing when the sunlight hits it. I'll be updating the pics once it's back from GR Performance.
In summary this is a well cared for and well specced Evo. All the usual weak points of the X have been addressed and the car is ready to drive away with plenty of worry free motoring for the new owner.
