Adam If you check further down on the linked document it shows a bunch of tests to check the alternator itself, run them on the one you removed first of all. Maybe its just 2 bad alternators? (or swap the one from white into black to prove the same)
Yes I leaning towards both alt fu*** got third one on the shelf may try it if that not help then will swap over from white vr4 which is a bit extreme.
