L200 being dragged in the snow by front wheel lift tow truck.

While watching the North West local news they did a story on the snow causing problems on the road.
    Location:- Horwich nr bolton
    Reg:- NEZ 2656
If you know who owns the L200 warn them.

They filmed a black mitsubishi L200 with a full load bed cover looked like a worrier or barbarian model, being lift by the front wheels only and dragged through the snowy streets you could see the drive train fighting the read and locking up.
Who ever own this L200 is going to have a hefty bill to replace the drive train as it will be trashed.

What an idiot, unless those rear wheels where traction free on the snow and ice im guessing we got severely damaged or even broken transfer box chain &...
ive seen what damage can be done with 'winde up'!
I was interrested to see what vehicle it was so did a Vehicle MOT reg checkwith DVLA and it came back with no details 'please check vehicle make and registration' so i don't know... but that reg sounds familiar?

It is either a cover up plate or and Irish plate as they are 3 letters and 4 numbers.

Someone has told me the L200 are not full time 4wd so it might have been just the had brake on.
But in the film footage you could see the L200 jack knife into the back of the toe truck when it brakes.

Either way the tow rig driver should know what they are doing.

I had to almost have a fight with an as guy to stop him hooking my Friday vr4 up to a front wheel lift tow truck driver. I told the on the phone I would need a flat bed for the transport but they sent and front wheel lift. I told them to piss off and send a flat bed. It took another two hours but it was work it as the guy with the flat bed knew what her was doing and apologised for the mix up and made sure I got a free year with the aa due to the problem.
