Hi all,
I am going to be buying a Link G4+ ECU from Eurospec
They are currently listed on their website for supply, installation and mapping for £1599 - I have been given a Supply-only cost of £999
This does not include Inlet Air Temperature sensor - price to follow for this.

Free yourself from the constraints of the factory ECU. The Link G4+ Plug-In fits discretely inside the original enclosure. Installation is a breeze with no alteration of the factory wiring loom required. A built-in connector (or pins in some models) provides additional inputs and outputs such as oil pressure inputs or anti-lag / logging switches (the number available depends on the application)
Includes integrated 4 bar map sensor
G4+ PlugIn Key Features (where applicable)
- Up to 6D fuel and ignition mapping
- Precision closed loop cam control (four cam, independent control)
- Sequential fuel delivery Digital triggering, all OEM patterns
- OEM idle hardware supported 5D boost control with three switchable tables
- Motorsport features – antilag, launch, flat shift
- Continuous barometric correction (on board)
- CAN port
- QuickTune – automated fuel tuning
- Individual cylinder correction
- USB tuning cable included
- Stats recording into on-board memory
- Gear compensations for spark, boost and fuel
- Real time selectable dual fuel, ignition and boost maps
- Sync and crank sensors can be a combination of Hall effect, variable reluctance or optical
- Boost control referenced to gear, speed or throttle position
- Up to 32Mbit internal logging memory
- Staged injection Knock with “windowing”
What advantages will this give over a standard ECU?
* Faster CPU inside so it can react faster = slightly more HP
* Has the same anti-lag / launch control / no-lift-to-shift as ours (facelift/plastic-cased only) but also supports ignition cut (rather than fuel cut) so you get even louder pops / bangs / boost before launch
* Closed loop full load (WOT) means more accurate fuelling when under load
* Also has additional outputs so you can add things like automatic NOS / intercooler spray / shift light / anything a relay can switch
* Potential (we're investigating) to swap in Evo X throttle body to give drive-by-wire / fly-by-wire support which means better economy, cruise control and rally-style overrun anti-lag
Still awaiting further details, but there is the possibility of a bit of a discount for buying a few - so if anyone else is interested in upgrading their ECU, then please let me know and I can see what discount I can secure.
There is a possibility for splitting payment over 4 months if paid by debit card if you are also buying more stuff - but it will increase cost by 9%
Timescale for this is pretty short - I'm looking to order this week!
Please work on the basis of the costs above - and any bulk-buy discount I can secure being a bonus - and please let me know if you are serious, and willing to commit this week.
