I'm seeing some sites are closing down due to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
and declining activity(new treads) on the forums even if number of visits increase.
Will GDPR kill this site too? :/

That's a very good point. @admin I assume there is a privacy statement. Question is does it need updating?
Live, love, learn but most of all.... Plan.
I thought that GDPR was only an issue if you were using data for marketing purposes.
Too much is just enough.
GDPR has been a good opportunity to "unsubscribe" from loads of inappropriate eMail marketing campaigns here in the office.
Came in on Friday morning, "deadline day" and had nearly 100 such eMails. All gone now and good riddance.
As a small company we don't do any eMail marketing but have been obliged to include a privacy policy on our website and to make
people aware of it on eMails with an "opt out" statement.
Have had eMails from other forums re GDPR / Privacy Policies so guess CVR4 should do the same
No idea.
We will look into it.
As an acronym it is definitely a menace...
