I probably have a standard rear diff if you want to fit it while you fix yours. Or I could possibly sell it if I was pushed.
Bye for Now!
This may be useful, from Viamoto website:

Updating Soon!! 1998 Legnum VR4, fully serviced every 4500 miles. Fully Amsoil'd. Falken 453's, EVO 8 FQ320 rear diff.
Is the bottom left drawing 34062, not the ayr internal?, not sure but that what it looked like?.
Been a few years since I had one apart!
Adam, Check your inbox for evo 4/5 workshop manual with a bit of info. I will also message to Gary to see if it should go-to members library.
The bad news is the line:
Caution
(1) The differential carrier assembly is non-maintainable.
The first time (lol!), my AYC diff exploded, I asked in mitsy dealer about parts and the guy said the rear diff came up as 1 unit, so he could only order me a full diff!.
BUT, it is possible to get outer seals, and bearings etc through sites like viamoto, and the exploded drawing on viamoto site shows part numbers for other parts in the drawing.
Drawing 34062 looks like the AYC clutch packs with past numbers!
This video won't really help and I'm not sure if the info is actually legit, but, the guy shows the clutch packs from the rear diff and also shows the drawing 34062.
SO, there are part numbers against each part of the clutch pack, individual plates etc!
No link Louis
I'm not sure about 34062, the pinion support looks to be different between the two, unless they encase all of 34062 inside the AYC casing? I would guess that shows the internals for the type-V diff, or maybe the LSD from an evo?
I think the clutches live in the larger area to the left of the drawing, near marker A. However, I wouldn't be surprised to find that the pinion and ring-gear were interchangeable. Maybe even the carrier too.
Doh!!!

There's a cutaway top right there, it does indeed look like the video and 34062 are referring to a different rear differential than the AYC diff, you can see the torque vectoring clutches in the cutaway and on the diagrams they have further down.
Yes, I just saw the clutches and thought ayc.
You would think you would be able to buy a clutch pack as a set!.
If it’s a bearing, you could remove it and go to a bearing supplier and they can check it and offer an equivalent.
A good auto gearbox specialist can probably find equivalent clutches and steels too. Id be surprised if they were custom to the diff.
Thanks to all with input, that s something which I wasn't expecting at all, lack of service manual for ayc diff, has been offered set of bearings (4 pcs) from viamoto, so need to take if out and split then see whats what, definitively post couple of photos while im there.
