Hehe a Customer going through the hassle a supplier has ! _ Well done
The part that matters is the Sensor end, wiring can always be soldered
Most ABS sensors work using a halls effect sensor have a read

I bet another car uses the same end and a different length and connector but the important part
is the sensor itself (part number will change with length/connector/end)
So yes you are correct to look at different cars
I ain't gonna steal your thunder

Hey Mike,
Hope all is well, I’m still buying stuff from Viamoto
If you have any clues or input please feel free to add input. Also it would be Great if you could get a decent price on the VR4 abs sensors. They are even hard to source never mind the price when they are available!.
I have also found a very similar one on a Hyundai.
Cheers Louis
Updating Soon!! 1998 Legnum VR4, fully serviced every 4500 miles. Fully Amsoil'd. Falken 453's, EVO 8 FQ320 rear diff.
