    Mitsubishi Sigma / Diamante

    Chaps...

Has anyone got any experience (and by that I mean 'I drove/owned one' not 'I raced one in my VR-4 and the Sigma lost' or 'I saw one once and I don't like the look of it') of the these cars?

I'm on about the 1991-1996 model.

    Any opinions welcome!

    cracking big motors

know of 2 guys with them - both of them will not part with them and use them as sunday cars now (both have big mileages)

the guy that now has my V6 sport is one of them (works at mitsi dealers), he will not part with it and pampers it (its mint with full leather etc - top spec ex demo) even though its probably not worth much in terms of money.

parts can be expensive and hard to come by, e-bay bangers are often snapped up to supply parts - new suspension can cost £1K upwards cos of the complex electrics.

if you are thinking of getting one - buy with caution as these may not have VR4 running costs (but cant be far of it) - but they will be more expensive to fix, often costing more than the cars are worth

some engine parts are interchangeable with shoguns - but it all the electronic components and modules that cost big money - and everything is controlled by these on the sigma

are you looking for one K????

I always rather liked the look of the newer Magna/Verada (in aus) wagons. 3.5 V6 would do me...

The 30M model is the one to get. 3.0 Litre Mivec Motor. Same hp as the VR-4 and no turbo. That would be a quick car.

I always though they looked a little too big for the engine output, until I heard about the Mivec Version. Some of these models also had 4wd, which you would need a bit more power/torque.
We work to live, and to live is to drive a VR-4, around corners at speed. But it costs see here

Are you going to install a 3.0L into your VR-4?

As KiwiTT said, go for the 30M from the 1996-200? car, it's the only real option
