Hi all,
Got home safely with the new pump fitted.
Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone as I was blown away by the help and generosity!
Especially of course Garry, Jason and Dave.
Shame I couldn't stay for the Sunday.
Hope to help out a lot more next time on other peoples cars. With my limited knowledge very happy to clean and detail cars and make teas and coffees.
( I owe someone money for the pump)
Thanks again for a great day!
I would like to thank everyone who came to this for making it an AMAZING weekend. I has so much fun talking with everyone, seeing new faces and old ones, it's exactly what I needed after 18 months of being cooped up not seeing anyone!
It was probably the biggest collection of Galants & Legnums in one place for a number of years!
I'm aware that some people didn't quite get everything done to their car that they had hoped - being the most popular one of these ever there was so much going on!! I hope that no one left too disappointed.
As usual, I forgot to take a step back and take any photos, so please do share any you happened to take!
MVP of the weekend has to be @Davezj, every time I saw him he was helping a different person!
I took a few sneaky photos, nothing special but I didn’t have the height to capture all the vehicles on the drive in one shot.
The wooden climbing frame would have been perfect for that in hindsight!

Great pics Jamie!
Definitely nice to see everyone
@Braddy40 Ah yes, the TRE fuel pump! Hope all is well now, I'll send you a PM in a mo
Meant to post this days ago but thank you to Garry for hosting us and for your inlaws putting up with the racket and even cooking for us. Could not believe how helpful everyone was.
FANTASTIC day, sorry I couldn't stay over.
Great to see everyone again and meet people for the first time.
Nev working for Jap-parts having the boot full of stuff was a life saver.
Dave put some reyt graft in, as did Jay, as did everyone!
My wheels nearly fell off on the way home tho as I let Alfie put them on and didnt check them, the impact wrench had been turned down and he didnt know. Pulled off at Catcliffe due to banging noises, 8 of 10 bolts were loose enough to turn with my fingers!
When is the next one!!!
youtube "tha got beef wi me"
i made that.
Eeek! That was nearly disastrous! Glad you didn't have the stereo turned up too high!
I was hoping mine would be out of the garage for this but sadly I bought the wrong Cambelt and no opportunity *♂️
Next time you should be ready, though!
