@Nick Mann has converted a few autos to manuals (well, certainly more than one!), hopefully he might be able to weigh in with his experience.

I can check from my car in few hours, so you just need to know which wires to solder? If i remember right there was also few wires which needs to be connected together.
That would be great just need to know which wires to connect/ solder for the speedo, I have wired the reverse lights and set up the neutral safety as a kill switch

You need to be paid member or try to find same info here, maybe someone has posted it
What's your chassis number? EC5A 040xxxx or 050xxxx? To my knowledge, those ages do not have a speedo feed on the gearbox - they use shaft sensors to determine gear ratio and speed to pulse the speed signal. I have never auto converted one that young, so I have not got first hand experience, but I heard that you need to wire in cables to near the ecu.
/edit although reading your post again you say the manual box sensor is only two pin? I've never modified the loom where the auto box had a speedo sensor. Does the loom have an adapter on it between one and the other?
Hi,
I converted my EZB auto (2001 facelift) to manual, like Nick said - EZB box has two hall type sensors, not mechanical toothed gear like manuals.
Solution, wire manual sensor (3pin) directly to gauges or harness behind center console behind stereo.
Check link i posted, you need to pay OZVR membership to see that post - it has all the details (wire colors etc).
