    Goodyear eagle f1 tyres £115.00

This weekend i stuck a deposit on some lovely 18in rims so i thought i'd try and pick up a deal on some tyres in the size 225/40/18. I phoned up a good number of places and for the mentioned tyre found prices raging from £128 to £135 . By chance i got a number through the same place im buying the wheels and hey presto after pleading poverty and promises of more trade the nice man on the phone gave me a knockdown price of £115.00. Ive noticed that a few members ride on 18's so if anyone's intrested in tyres at the mo stick your name down. Paulmc what u saying

My local Britannia quoted me just over £100 each including fitting & balancing for 17's - hardly makes mytyres etc worth it.

It's not a bad price, but compare it to CaishanVR4's price:

    £115.00
    -£108.60
    =£006.40

£6.40 per tyre for fitting, balancing, valve and disposal of old tyre? Sounds like a better deal thatn mail order this time.

This is still more than my local Britannia has quoted me - and that's for a single buyer! It was £104 and a few pence each fitted (including VAT), so I don't think the guy's doing much of a deal for you. Maybe tyres are more pricey for Essex Man?

Alright graham norton, i think you need to pull your thongs out your backside as its cutting the blood supply to your brain.
I didn,t say they were the best prices ever and i certaintly wasn,t thinking of myself when the prices came through. Its just as i was after tyres i thought i'd ask if he would do any deals on group buys and he said yes unlike the twenty other tyre places who were,nt intrested. Also may i add nick mann asked for a price on 17's and i got that quote.. it may not be the best but its not the end of the world...
A couple of pounds here or there wont bankrupt me

AND BY THE WAY WHO YOU CALLING AN ESSEX MAN

Thought it was a great quote to start, didn't realise that the tax was not in the price. (D'Oh!) Now not worth travelling for.

    Sorry! Thanks for asking.

I am getting four new Eagle F1 GSD3 XLs fitted tomorrow, in 225/40 ZR18 flavour.
£440 all in, fitting, balancing, valves
BernMc - Brittania are always very competitive, but they were quoting me £120 a corner for the above, and wouldn't budge on price - I found two places in Cov cheaper - let me know if you are after some, and i'll let you know where.

If the 92 quid was including VAT, then that is a good price. Didn't spirit manage £360 for 4 - your price wouldn't be far off that then.

All fitted, nice job, nice people
They do good deals on Eagles and Toyos, and seem to be cheaper than most internet sites.
Coventry Wheelbase, Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry. Tell them Stuart with the Ralliart VR4 told you and he'll do you a good deal.

Had it sideays pulling out of a junction though - new tyres , need some bedding in
