Front inner CV

Hi all.... not been on here for a while but just wanted to share some possibly good news....

I, like loads no doubt have been trying yo source front inner CV joints... originally 'just in case' but then one of mine exploded internally a while ago and cars been SORN since developing the 'acceleration shuffle'.

On inspection NS front tripoid had lost all roller bearings from one ring. Luckily the FTO uses same inner and i've dozens of those so sorted for now.

ANYHOW, prompted by this I 'hounded' FEBEST and they have promised to do a run of 200 front inner CVs (0411-N94RH) by the middle of next year... they considered them 'end of life' but I convinced them there was a demand for a reasonable number so... just wanted to share the info....

That's great news, Andy! If they're a reasonable price then a few of us may well consider getting some to put on the shelf!

That is quite funny, because I have been requesting these parts off them for over a year now and I said I would 200 units off them if the made somemore.
But they said they would not be making them again. They would need orders in the range of 10000+ to consider manufacturing them again.

But if they are going to make them again then this is great news.
I just hope they stick with there promise.
Originally when I tried to order this part they said the would have some coming in next year.
And next year came and went and they still did not get any in.
I then had a couple of long conversation with one of there sales people and they said they would not be getting any more in.
It was just not worth ordering another run of them. For only an order of 200.

I've just had a confirmation Email from the sales manager at Febest to say a 'works order' has gone into the factory to start the production process.
