Manual Gearbox Input Shaft Bearing

I checked the noise while pressing and releasing the clutch pedal and I can confirm the noise does change, so it looks like at least the input shaft bearing needs replacement. Bugger.

In terms of part ID, is it definitely this item 22008? Comes back as part no MD700207.

Anything else that needs replacing at the same time? Any other bearings or seals that will be ruined during the removal? I will change the clutch while the gearbox is off.

I found Jesus-Ninja's clutch change write-up, I definitely don't have the skills or the facilities to drop the gearbox solo.

Anyone in the Notts/Yorks area have experience of how to do this who could help?

Could be, either way the gearbox needs to come off to confirm. And while I’m in there, I might as well replace the whole clutch assembly.
