Does anyone know this car

This is the car my son has recently purchased and guessing by the fact the supplied keys has a CLUB VR4 key fob, i am of the impression that a previous owner was a member on here.
If anyone has any info or links to posts or pictures regarding this car that would be much appreciated.

Not personally, but it's been around for sale as it is for a little while.

Was originally sold for about ?1000, in reasonable condition from what I remember, and was then crashed within days, and has been up for sale again ever since in its current state and ridiculous price...
