Thumbs up Hello to Jane and Marcus

    /wave

Went to visit Jane and Marcus at their bodyshop (http://www.autotechnics-ltd.com/) today to have a chat about paintwork and stuff - nice folk and Marcus used his keen eye to point out a load of faults on the VR4 that I wasn't aware of . (Also found out that Rugby appears to be a bit of a black hole as regards my old SatNav).

I've got the car booked in for a couple of weeks time so expect a critical appraisal of their handiwork soon ...... ........

I got to see Keirans latest car - had a good look at that but have yet to meet Keiran himself. It'll certainly be a nice project.

I also had a good look at their three VR4's all nice cars and each very different from the others......but it was the Legnum that I really liked, in fact I've fallen in love with the colour that deep metallic green looks gorgeous and like a few of the VR4 colour schemes looks black much of the time. The estate body is also starting to appeal.

So I can cofidently declare that my next Legnu.....oops I mean VR4 will be green. It really is that nice.

Nice to meet you guys, hope Marcus wasn't too late for his appointment and that neither of you caught the sun as much as I did See you on the 12th.

    Steve

Good to meet you Steve I must apologise for the lack of refreshments and promise faithfully that the kettle WILL be on next time

Your car is in safe hands - trust me I'm a doctor I can't quite believe how much damage an egg can do - I'll remember to throw something else at Marcus in future

/quick footnote - just looked at our website and realised that Marcus hasn't updated it since 2002 Having said that the radiators are still the same colour in my house-for now

Apology accepted - although if the weather is as nice next time I drop round Pimms might be more appropriate

How dare you! We are not a chop shop. Who told you that? If it was the guy who's car fell in half he is a liar. It wasn't our fault. Self tapping screws are a perfectly legitimate substitute for welding.

Bah! Use pop rivets and then get a tube of bathroom sealant to imitate a seam weld.............................
