    alloys for sale

eurasia speed FZQ 24 spoke, centre stud alloys, lined with Nankang 205/55/R16 V rated tyres. any interest I get in these will determine wether I upgrade to 18" 5 spoke alloys. the wheels are in need of a bit of a clean, but there are no marks or damage to them at all. the tyres are virtually brand new. [ new when I bought the car a month ago, & I've only doe 1000 miles. ] I'd like around £100 a piece for them, or is that a bit optomistic ?? no response , means no upgrade.:Cry1: :Cry1:

some of the more senior members will know whether they will fit, I'm not sure, just know these are 5 stud, 114 pdc. [ I think ? ] the centre 32mm stud has to be removed, to gain access to the centre cover, which in turn gives you access to the five studs. cant post any pics as yet , ' cause I aint got a digital camera. :INSERT INTO post VALUES ( they look good though. I'll get some photo's taken, & TRY to post them on here !!! should be a challenge for me ! I have to get instruction book out, to switch computer on !!

Am I right in saying the UK standard Galants are 4 stud so they will not fit anyhow ?

You are right about the VR4's though :

    PCD: 114.3 mm
    Cente Bore: 67.1mm
    5 stud

I am looking at alloys at the moment aswell - what actual 5 spokes are you looking at - can you post a pic or point me in their direction.

So far I really like the OZ Superleggera's on 17's with Goodyear Eagle F1's but approx £1300 ! Wife not too keen at the moment ! :Cry1:

we all know when we look at a set of wheels that. WOW ! they are expensive. I'm not in that price bracket. take a look at FOX premier. the FP 1. in titaniun. slightly darker than the silver of my legnum, which is the effect I want. 40 profile tyres on 18 inch rims, I think will be pretty good. I could go for 19 inch with 35 profile, but I think that is pushing it. fox say that they would fit, without fouling, but I have my doubts. & the price !!! hate to say it , but Halfords have quoted me £995, less 30% discount, including Hankook tyres, balancing, valves etc, not much more for Bridgestone.

Yeah was drawn to the Halfords sale offers - only 10% on OZ and BBS though and NIL off Momo's !

Those Fox Premier's did look pretty sweet and thats a good price too but would consider the better tyres mate.

They are standard on some, but they are gold in colour so you may get away with it if you go for a normal colour.

tyres are important, more for image than performance. when was the last time you took your car to the limit, wishing you'ld got better tyres on?? I think us mere mortals aren't in the F1 league.

Find the ones you like and then pay a 13 yearold a fiver and point him in their direction. he'll have them off by the time he snatched the fiver out of your hand.

Yes, this is true. The PCD is the same, but they're 4 stud:INSERT INTO post VALUES (
Looks like a set of Galant Sport alloys are the way to go... for any other non-VR-4 owners reading this, they're ones fitted to the 2.5 Sport and the end of line UK Galants. They're 17s, wearing 215/45 ZR17 Mitchelin Tyres. My local dealer INSERT INTO post VALUES (Variava Nottingham) has quoted about £680 fitted/balanced with tyres.
