Cool Hi there , new user here!

    Hi everyone
First of all , top marks for the site , it looks great! I found you via the MLR forums so I thought i'd register , even tho I dont own a VR4. My car is a 97 INSERT INTO post VALUES (new shape) Galant V6-24V Auto , which will soon be fitted with brand new 17" Galant sport wheels and a VR4 rear spoiler. Eventually I aim to change the grille , front/rear valances and sideskirts to make a Sport replica of sorts INSERT INTO post VALUES (but i have been warned the front fogs for the Sport valance are very expensive!!) Anyone else on here own a non VR4 V6 Galant? Are there any mods apart from the ones I'm planning that I could do to the car? Are there any meets where non Ralliart vehicle owners are welcome at? Any info will be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

    Hey there !

What was the Lancer GTi like to drive ? [the one you used to own !] I had a GLXi that got written off [bloody women dirvers !] and I was looking for a Lancer Gti 4WD, but I couldnt find one & needed a car so had to settle for bigger brother [Galant GTi 4WD] which is cool, but I miss my Short Wheelbase :INSERT INTO post VALUES (

The Gti was great! It was a 5 door in red with a Superchip , lowering springs , 15" white Compomotive MOs and a Momo gearknob and wheel. Those Lancers were underrated little cars , even the 1.6-16V I had recently was still a nippy little car , 113PS but only 1160KG to shift around! I have a piccy of the GTi somewhere , I will try and post it up to show you it.

HI Dmac - as Pescha has already said welcome to the Club VR4 family.

You asked about meets - well we have a trip to Santa Pod on the 12th October if you fancy coming. We have a stand for 20 cars booked which is not full at the moment. Of course we have to give priority to VR4 owners but you could come along for the day to meet us all and catch a ride and if there is room you could stick your car on the stand - take a look in the Events section.

    Pete
