    locking wheel nuts

    after a mishap with my locking wheel nut key in the dark , i now have to buy some more locking nuts , i was wondering if anyone knew what thread size they are

    Not sure, but I know that the correct Mcgard part number is 24157

    Don't know, but Evo nuts are the same as VR4 nuts. Sorry - that's probably not helpful!

    so they are 12mm and same as an evo - wheres the best place to get them?

    Halfrauds do McGuards. Bloke on Fleabay does Wolfrace flavour, but they're open-ended. Under a tenner though, as compared to 35ish for McGuards.

    I haven't found any McGuards on the net for cheaper than Halfrauds once you take delivery into account.

    Don't forget you also have to take into account the taper / cone angle of the nuts as well as the thread size, all alloy wheels should come with their own wheel nuts to suit the internal taper of the wheel otherwise you will not be able to torque them down correctly and risk having them come loose again.........
