i like that kit, it looks especially good on the dark cars.

anyone know the effect all this hp has on the driveline? i just got my 96 manual legnum vr4 and changed the clutch and put new rotors/pads in. everybody keeps saying 'don't launch it man theyre not a launching car' and 'dont launch it or you'll blow the back diff'......??? anyone?

also, the ohlsen website seems to be gone...

look out for BGG411 in chch!

Yup. I don't know how many clutches he has gone through, or gearbox rebuilds. But he absolutely rapes the pants off this Legnum spinning all 4 wheels on launch.

How many EVO 5's do you see blowing their diffs ?

How many EVO 5's do you see blowing their gearboxes ?

How many EVO 5 owners do you see launching their cars ?

I used to launch my VR4 all the time, the only trouble I ever had with the diff is that the AYC went in it, nothing to do with the diff at all.

The only reason I don't launch it hard now is that i don't want to do my clutch again any time soon.

To answer that question - mike and I purchased that car after it was stolen and recovered. All the good bits had been stolen but in all honesty, I don't think there was that much cool stuff on it.

Car was stripped and parts sold. Shell was scrapped

yep evo 8 bolts straight in you just need to drill a hole in the diff carrier so you can fill up the oil.

You'll need a couple of 10mm spacers for the bolt mounting points too.
