the link on the first post didn't work for me, not sure if its been updated but with this many post I'd take ages to go though them all. I goodled it and found this link

    http://recall.mitsubishi-motors.co.j...ecallstatus.do

    result

1 gear runs, concerning the blower fan airflow control control equipment of [regunamu] and [asupaia] recall 2005/04/12 job unexecuted
Front suspension of 3 models such as 2 gear runs and [regunamu] (the lower arm) concerning recall 2003/11/20 job unexecuted
3 gear runs, concerning ASC of the [regunamu] VR-4 series the recall 2001/11/08 work performance being completed
4 models such as 4 gear runs and [regunamu] (the 4WD car) concerning the fuel tank the recall 2000/07/26 work performance being completed

Ok prob been asked 100 times already but "being completed" = done? not "not yet finshed but has started"?

Yes job done. If it says job unexecuted, it means that its still outstanding.

I called the Colt Car Company to check my recall status, they in turn contacted Japan and eventually contacted my local Misti dealer who arranged for the outstanding recall work to be done. It was all free of charge, the only issue was it took several weeks from start to finish.

As I said in the other post if it is a recall and it's a safety issue then the have to do it here.

We had to do all the recall work on imported mazdas if it was a safety concern. If it wasn't a safety concern (like rx8 starter motors) cust had to pay unless they had a massive cry to Mazda nz

Not online, AFAIK! The website referred to is for JDM cars. You can try speaking to the main dealer, and give them your reg/chassis number.

Is your car manual or auto? If it is auto then the ASC must have been done. Come to think of it they may not do the ball joint one here due to the age of the car and whos to say it hasn't had aftermarket arms fitted already

Its a Manual one Dave, so the ASC isnt a problem... Good thoughts on the Ball Joints due to the age...

1 gear runs, concerning electric wiring around the engine compartment of the [regunamu] VR-4 series the recall 2004/06/30 work performance being completed
Front suspension of 3 models such as 2 gear runs and [regunamu] (the lower arm) concerning the recall 2003/11/20 work performance being completed
3 gear runs, concerning ASC of the [regunamu] VR-4 series the recall 2001/11/08 work performance being completed
4 models such as 4 gear runs and [regunamu] (the 4WD car) concerning the fuel tank the recall 2000/07/26 work performance being completed

Think that means it's all been done in the land of the rising sun?

    @giblet

Is yours a UK supplied car? if so, that site is for Japanese domestic market only.

I suggest you contact Mitsubishi in the UK for the recall status on your car as they can check both UK and Japan status.

As they were still JDM cars, I would have thought that they would appear on the Japanese recall database. They after all appear in the JDM parts database!

I think I emailed Mitsubishi directly with my first VR4. Given that there's a few of the Ralliart branded service forms in my history folder I think any recalls will already have been done but its worth checking it just in case I suppose.

According to the NZ Mitsubishi recall site http://www.mmnz.co.nz/recalls/ my car does not need any work done but from what I can tell from the Japanese one it does?
    What to do?
