    bit of a refurb

Been doing a bit of tidying up since I had a bump a while ago, had to replace the front headlamp panel, this is the first chance I have had to put some photos up. been resprayed and sorted my interior and some other bits along the way.
A few more its to do, not happening as quick as I would like, but it's getting there
I have put a lot more in My Garage, My Vehicles:

Liking your style Louis, it looks great.

One tiny criticism would be your roof rails.
They spray up quite well IMO and would definitely give your car a nice finishing touch. Removing the roof liner is a doddle and done in minutes with another pair of hands.

I totally agree with Olie, the lines of the Legnum without the roof rails is so much more sleek. The whole car seems to drop down inches and get just that bit wider!

I look forward to seeing the pics when you're done.

I was really surprised how easy it was, I read a couple of threads on here and they made me think it was going to really difficult, that put me off for ages despite my hatred for the faded rails.

Apart from the obvious bits I managed to do it by just removing the C pillar covers and sliding it past the B pillars. I added Dynamat and re routed some cables while it was off so definitely a job worth doing for me.

THis is mine isn't it? Anyway: it's a hybrid mix of right half original VR4 high-vis / high-contrast cluster and the left side is from a Euro (non-UK) V6 high-contrast cluster. Takes a bit of cutting and customizing but it looks very nice. There's also been a set of truly custom made face plates that would have many goodies for these clusters on it, created by Tomasz (Swinks) some years ago.

This is my first try with making up a 260km/h speedo Mark. I recognized the mileage. @elbonye: You need to find a high vis cluster from a non-turbo Galant and then replace the speedo unit. Downside is that you need to customize the speedo face (either cut VERY precise) or have a new face made up.

There is also a plasma gauge face available from MoMan.pl or you can have a replacement face made up by companies like k-tec carconcepts. Mine is looking like this now:

Yes yes yes, the more pics the better.

Very nice cars indeed. Nice drop on the FL, speed humps would kill me if I went that low again.
What are the wheels on the FL ? I almost feel nostalgic for silver rims these days, I'd still paint them black though.

I've always wondered about splashing a bit of Ralliart around. I'm gonna say tasteful Colin but I think you need to add a bit more now, you've got plenty of strait and lovely black panels to put them on.
