Looks like your legnum and my legnum had a competition to see who could give it's owner the most grief.
1997 legnum vr4 owner.
She will now get the love and attention she deserves after previous owner neglect.
split two hoses is quick succession?
have you checked for any reason why I could have been doing that.
Thinking that the thermostat isn't working, It has a block somewhere in the system, Do that that heater hoses are block, That probably reason why the water/antifreeze keep gong blown
Just after we pull over, Craig touch the radiator and it was still cold and so was the bottom radiator hose, Never overheated by going by the temp gauge
The hoses are very soft and old
So Unsure at the moment
Bought a thermostat from Mitsi today, Bought a set of silicone radiator hoses, Once they are all replace, Will be pressure testing the system along with compression test, Hoping is no damage has been done to the engine
flush the system out with no thermostat in. that should get out any crap,
also take the radiator out and throughly clean it.
