so i took my car in for a wof, failed, on a couple things, my biggest concern is the fuse that keeps blowing, the number 8 fuse, as pictured, i think it may have blew when i put the new battery in, but it just blows it every time i turn the park lights on.

also failed on hid with projectors, apparently they are illegal, but i this is what i read on the nzta site
HID conversion kits (an HID bulb with a high voltage power unit or ‘ballast’ which fits into the original headlamp unit in place of the original bulb with no change to the headlamp lens, reflector or housing) are illegal on any vehicle being used on New Zealand roads.
However, a complete halogen headlamp unit can be replaced with a complete HID headlamp unit provided that the replacement headlamp unit complies with approved standards. If in doubt, get advice from a vehicle lighting retailer you trust.
the part in yellow is the part that is making me wonder. The lights arent using the reflectors, they are using projectors, so i would think, so long as the aim and pattern is right, they should be fine?
did a bit of looking around here first, found this thread
