I was just thinking, with the amount of money I have spent and the amount of stuff I have done to the car, I still have those horrible stock downpipes and the stock exhaust.

I think I have been too lazy to find out how much it would cost to get one made up haha

Isnt the exhaust like on of the first thing most people change when they get a performance car lol

I was lucky, my legnum came with a 3" system, but I did have 2.5" downpipes made. Although I did change the back box pretty soon after purchasing.

My other car came standard, I think it went wheels, splitter/diffuser, springs, then coilovers, and now exhaust is in the cupboard waiting for me to find time to have it fitted.

will cost you about 1k to get downpipe, and complete system made,
depends on muffler/resonators you use, and if stainless or mild steel

That's cheap. I got quoted $1500+ for downpipes.

My catback was $600 IIRC, 3" with a single reso and straight through muffler - however it has a drone at motorway speeds.

I have a fujitsubo legalis type r evolution, without a doubt the nicest sounding muffler Ive heard on a legnum. I have custom downpipes and 3 inch exhaust too. Love the sound

Two resos and a good muffler is a good start. You may have to add another reso or even a middle muffler depending on how quiet you want it.
