[Potential meet] Tuning day Sat 1st August @ Area 52, Nottingham

Hi folks,

Couple of people have unearthed my corpse and asked me to host yet another of the popular tuning days at Area 52 Autosport in Nottinghamshire, this would be on Sat 1st August (so just under 1 months time) as it's the only day they've got free in the foreseeable.

Please can I get a rough show of hands for who would be interested in a tuning session, a simple dyno run or who would be interested in just turning up for a tea and a chinwag?

For those that haven't been before, here's the old thread so you can see what to expect

Jason I would be interested as I now have all the niggles sorted out that were highlighted last time so would be good to get the old girl mapped properly now.

I have to check the dates etc and get back to you but I am a provisional on this one for now.

Damnit, I was going to see whether you might be up for one on the 5th September, as my dad might have been up here with my Anglia, and I wanted to get that on the dyno!


I'll probably still pop along in my Legnum to this one for a few hours for tea, pastries and a chat


Oh, and everyone, be careful on the way in this time, they've recently put up Average Speed Cameras on the A38, lowering the limit to 50.

jason we will have enough as ive got 5-6 people that are coming for dyno runs

Right, I've messaged Cheryl at A52 and she says it's okay to go ahead with 5-6 cars however until we have at least 10 people doing the dyno shootout she'll have to charge us £45.00 per car.

Not the end of the world but it'd be nice to get more to get the price down
