my 3rd gear just turned into neutral so im looking for a new gearbox for my 1997 vr4 legnum

if anyone has one for sale let me know also with a price and shipping to Nelson.

if anyone knows how much it will cost to get my current gearbox recon'd please let me know.

1-2-4-5- and reverse all work fine, it was driving fine never had any issues ever untill the other night it got stuck in 3rd and i thought it was sticky linkages because after i sprayed everything with crc it work fine and drove as it always did with no signs of anything wrong then all of a sudden 3rd gear made a bang . . then it would drive fine untill 3500rpm and it would make a weird noise so i changed gear then tried 3rd again and nothing doesnt work at all. it goes into gear fine but makes a slight rumbling noise and just revs like its in neutral

I have spare gearbox in bits if you can be bothered rebuilding your gearbox. Can have the lot for 250NZD.

Hi Adam, Do you still have the transmission? does it include the bell housing? Would you sell bell housing separately?

Still have it yes. But it is just the gearset, no casings. All in pieces

I have a bell housing, though will only sell the entire case. (you can throw the rest out or scrap it if you want)
